Cotesbach Organic and Gluten Free Shop

Cotesbach Organic and Gluten Free Shop

Our shop is in a lovely old converted barn in the Leicestershire village of Cotesbach.

Come and see all the items available by Mail Order, plus lots of chilled and frozen foods, including Organic meat (some locally produced), and a very good selection of cheese including goat and sheep cheese. Dairy free yogurts and cheeses are also very popular.

We take pride in our fresh organic fruit and vegetables  – we endeavour to keep as full a range as possible, favouring local and UK grown, but still providing a good selection in the winter. We usually have produce grown here in the Organic Kitchen Garden, especially in the summer months. We don’t have air-freighted veg.

You will find the complete range of Ecover, including refills, and we are now starting to refill the Faith in Nature range of shampoos, conditioners, hand soaps & shower gel.

Of particular interest is :

We have a very full range of Gluten free food including frozen savoury pastries, gluten free sausages and suet. You may be surprised at how much is available.

Opening hours - We are open 9:30am to 5:00 pm Monday to Saturday, late night shopping Thursday 7:00pm. Sorry we are closed on Sunday.

There is plenty of parking.

Directions - You can use google maps to find us.

The shop is just behind the village pond in Cotesbach village, opposite the church and in the grounds of Cotesbach Hall. We are only 20 minutes from Leicester and about 15 minutes from Rugby. We have a sign on the main road, and also just by the turn into the shop.

Cotesbach is a village off the A426 Leicester to Rugby road, just south of Lutterworth.

From the M1 junction 20 Lutterworth (just 3 mins) follow the signs for Rugby.
From the M6 come off at the Rugby junction and join the A426 following the signs north for Lutterworth.

From the A5 join the A426 at the Gibbets Cross roundabout and follow the Lutterworth signs.

History - Our shop opened 19 November 2003, after a years conversion. The building work was done by Tom Newton and all the decorating, shop fitting etc by us.

The building started life in the early 1800's as a stable block as part of the Cotesbach Estate and had not been used since the late 1950's. The building still retains many of its original features, including a fine beamed ceiling.
