We will be holding our annual celebration of all things Organic on Friday 14th & Saturday 15th September 10am – 5pm.
As in previous years we will have the tent in the yard and offer you tastings of our favourite things, including some of the produce from the Garden.
On Friday afternoon and on Saturday there will be several opportunities to see around the Vegetable Garden here, now fully Organic, and find out more about Organic growing.
In addition there will be the chance to walk the old ridge and furrow system on the Cotesbach estate with Sophy Newton as guide and all round expert.
Advance bookings will be taken for groups of six or more for tours of the farmland on the Cotesbach estate, now part of the England Educational Access scheme and for historical context stretching back to mediaeval times as seen in the ridge and furrow parkland. The Soil Association will be here with their road show, promoting their work.
In previous years it has been a great fun day and we've had good weather as the pictures show.
We hope there will also be stalls from other local producers.
Our organic celebrations come after the first Saturday Farmers market in Lutterworth.
