Organic Blanched Almonds - Blanched almonds are almonds without their skin on, blanched almonds are used in many middle eastern dishes. Our organic blanched almonds are from Crazy Jack, and as with all Crazy Jack products you know they will be of the best. The blanched almonds come in a 100g pack size.
Organic Flaked Almonds - Organic flaked almonds are a great decoration idea, you can bake them in a moderate oven for about five minutes to give a golden colour. Flaked almonds are blanched almonds that have then been sliced to produce a flat disc shape.
Organic Ground Almonds - Organic Ground almonds are made from blanched almonds as Almond skins are rather bitter. Ground almonds are often called almond flour, Ground almonds are widely used in Gluten free cooking it is also a favorite ingredient in Mediterranean cooking, ground almonds can used to thicken sauces, to top a casserole and to give your crumble a moist feel.

With Fairtrade fortnight coming up we are considering what to do, in our home town the Fairtrade Group will be holding a number of events to promote the cause.
In the shop we will of course have our usual Fairtrade products for tasting and purchase, one thing we are considering is offering a Fairtrade Coffee with Fairtrade and Gluten free biscuits, if you don’t want a biscuit how about a sustaining Fairtrade bar.

- In addition to offering a standard 10% discount if you buy a case of any of the products we sell we also stock a great range of food in larger bulk pack sizes. Buying in bulk in this way can save you a considerable amount of money. Currently in our bulk categories you can buy :
- Bulk Organic Wholefoods - we sell large quantities of pulses and beans, for great saving, lentils and pulses keep well so buy what you need for a while.
- Bulk Organic Nuts - if you use nuts every day in cooking or just because you like them then buying in bulk can represent a great saving, good if you use ground almonds in cooking to avoid gluten.
- Bulk Organic Seeds - with seeds on your breakfast it is surprising how quickly you use a small packet, buying a large pack of expensive seeds is a great saving.
- Bulk Organic Dried Fruit - save over 40% on dried fruit by buying the larger quantities.
- Bulk Organic Rice - rice is a great staple with a long shelf life, so buying in bulk makes such common sense.

At Naturally Good Food we have been getting many requests for sacks and large quantities of many of our favourite wholefoods. As buying in bulk offers a major saving we are starting a new section on our site devoted to buying in bulk, this section we will expand over time.
Currently, we have individual sections on :
- Nuts - in this section we can offer nuts in 10kg sacks, if you use for example you use alot of ground Almonds a 10kg sack can save you over 80% of the price compared with buying in 250g bags.
- Seeds - with buying seeds in bulk you just need to take care when storing them.
- Dried Fruit - a great way to get into serious baking
- Wholefoods - sharing a sack or large bag with friends and family is a great way to keep the cost down and ensure the best quality possible.
- Grains Flour and Muesli - a great saving.
- Household - for items with almost an unlimited shelf life why would you not buy in bulk.
- Hair and Bath Products - if you buy your shampoo, conditioner of shower gel in large bottles not only do you save a great deal of money you are also helping the environment as you use significantly less packaging, so what’s good for your pocket is also good for the environment.
