In March we added 3 new lines to our Orgran range, these are :
- Orgran Essential Fibre Lasagnette - part of the growing Essential Fibre range from Orgran, the Lasagnette is excellent for pasta bakes and lasagne dishes. Orgran Essential Fibre Rice & Corn Lasagnette is produced from a combination of diverse nutritional ingredients that include, wholesome brown rice meal, resistant maize starch and fibre rich psyllium, which slows absorption of carbohydrates, thereby delaying and reducing glycemic peak.
- Orgran Rice and Corn Spaghetti and Orgran Rice and Corn Linguine - the Spaghetti and the Linguine share the same ingredients, they just come in a slightly different shape. Both the Spaghetti and Linguine are made from a combination of nutritious rice and sun-ripened corn.

- BioFair - Biofair offer a Rice and Quinoa gluten free pasta in a Fusilli and Spagetti form.

With Fairtrade fortnight coming up we are considering what to do, in our home town the Fairtrade Group will be holding a number of events to promote the cause.
In the shop we will of course have our usual Fairtrade products for tasting and purchase, one thing we are considering is offering a Fairtrade Coffee with Fairtrade and Gluten free biscuits, if you don’t want a biscuit how about a sustaining Fairtrade bar.

It is good to get the new year off with some new products from Orgran, as always with orgran the product is gluten free and great tasting. The new products this month are all gluten free crispbreads, there are three new varieties :
- Buckwheat Crispbread - Orgran Buckwheat Crispibread is a quality product produced from nutrient rich buckwheat that is specially milled to retain purity, freshness and its unique toasted nutty flavour.
Orgran Buckwheat Crispibread is light, crunchy and full of the goodness you have come to expect from Orgran. It is the ideal alternative to bread or heavier type crackers and has less that 0.3g fat per serving.
- Essential Fibre - Orgran Essential Fibre Crispibread is loaded with the goodness of complex carbohydrates combined with excellent dietary fibre value that will help to achieve the dietary needs of today.
