Organic Agave Nectar by Mail Order

If you have a sweet tooth and want an alternative to sugar or honey look no further than Agave Nectar. This syrup is a low GI sugar and comes from a succulent plant similar to aloe vera which grows in Mexico (also used to make tequila). The sap is extracted, heated to a low temperature ( low enough to still be classed as raw) and the sugars form. It is mild and doesn’t have the aftertaste of honey. Delicious on your morning porridge! It is also used in cake and biscuit recipes and the Babycakes book amongst other recipe books uses this as a sweetner alot.
Agave Nectar (Syrup) is considered to be some 50% sweeter than honey, and if you are a vegan is the perfect sweetner.
Our Agave nectar are all organic and with either a 10% case discount or bought in bulk in a 25ltr tub offers great value for money, we hope to be offering a mid-bulk 5ltr Agave Syrup in the near future, so if you use a reasonable amount this may be for you. At home we tend to favour the Crazy Jack Agave Syrup as it offers the best value for money and has full Soil Association Organic status.
