There is Biona’s Coconut Oil in a 800g plastic jar which is already proving very popular. It’s a versatile oil, with a mild coconut flavour and is solid at room temperature, but once gently warmed in the microwave or stood in warm water it becomes a crystal clear liquid, suitable for use in baking cakes, biscuits and flapjacks, and also good for frying - we tried it with prawns recently and it was delicious.
It can also be used externally on the skin. If you’ve never tried using coconut oil then there are the smaller 200g and 400g jars to start with. We stock the full Biona Coconut Oil range for mail order, alongside jars from Tiana and Pukka
Organic Agave Syrup is often in demand so we now have a 2.5 litre container as well as the 250ml bottle from Crazy Jack. You can use this natural sweetener in cakes and baking too, there are some lovely recipes in Baby Cakes by Erin McKenna. Use Organic Agave Syrup in drinks too and on your breakfast porridge. I’m always running out in the middle of baking so this large container with a handy handle is a boon and also reduces waste packaging.
It’s not quite as sweet as Organic Golden Syrup which also comes in a bigger 3kg tub, but sweeter than Organic Brown Rice Syrup (which is very useful for making flapjack) Crazy Jack Agave Syrup comes from a cactus like plant from Mexico and has a low GI rating.
