Gluten Free Tea Cake

A gluten free tea cake recipe using orgran gluten free gluten and a mix of gluten free flour.
Ingredients
315ml fresh milk
215g maize corn flour
85g rice flour
75g Orgran GFG
100 g margarine or butter
115g raw sugar
½ tsp. salt
1 fresh egg
4 tsp. gluten-free baking powder
1 tsp. mixed spice or organic cinnamon
90g Organic sultanas
Method
Preheat oven to 170ºC (340ºF)
Grease cake tin.
Lightly beat the egg.
- Mix dry ingredients (except sugar) in a large bowl.
- Rub margarine through mixture to fine crumbs.
- Combine sugar, milk and beaten egg in a separate bowl.
- Place liquid mixture into bowl with dry ingredients and mix well.
- Spoon mixture into the greased cake tin.
- Allow to stand for approximately 25-30 minutes and cover with a clean tea towel.
- Bake for approx. 45-50 min or until cake is golden brown.
