New Orgran Gluten Free Products

We have just taken delivery of three new Orgran products, there are two ready meals and a great wild rasberry roll.

The Wild Raspberry roll is gluten free and makes a great biscuit to have with a cuppa. The roll has a great raspberry taste, the general view is that it reminded us of an old fashion fig roll.

Orgrans Wild Raspberry Flavoured Fruit Filled Biscuits are gluten free, filled with 40% fruit content and are completely irresistible! Take a bite into the baked shortcrust biscuit casing and you will discover the delights of the soft fruity filling and the fresh juicy flavours.

The  Orgran two new ready meals are both gluten free and vegetarian and can be ready in two minutes. Both ready meals come with two seperate bags one for the sauce and the other for the pasta, combine the two and microwave for two minutes and you have the a great gluten free meal, they could make a great lunch, especially at work. We found that the pack was too big for one person.

Orgran Recipes for Gluten Free Cooking

At Naturally Good Food we have added a new section to our receipe page. This new section will focus on the use of Orgran in gluten free cooking, among the receipes will be a number of cake and bread ideas using orgran self raising flour, plain flour and bread mix the Orgran shortbread is really great and a gluten free wrap in addition to a gluten free bagel.

 

We will also add some ideas to use the great Orgran pasta range.

Sanchi Furikake Japanese Seasoning

If you are looking for a something different why not try Furikake a traditional Japanese seasoning made with the rare black and common white sesame seeds, seaweed and red shiro leaves. Sanchi Furikake comes from Hiroshima and is an extremely versatile, tasty table condiment, excellent in both Japanese and Western dishes. Traditionally, Furikake is used with rice, but can also be sprinkled over grain, pasta or cheese dishes, stir fries, cooked vegetables, potatoes or salads.

 
Sanchi Furikake provides a balance of protein, vitamins and mineerals without being overly salty.

Organic Chestnut Flour from Primeal is now back in stock. This useful gluten free flour was Chestnut flourunavailable for a while before Christmas, but we are very happy to have it back to add variety to your baking. We stock a huge range of gluten-free flour.

Kamut is an ancient relative of Durum wheat but is about twice the size and of common wheat and with 20-40% more protein, it is also higher in lipids, amino acids, vitamins and minerals.
