Our smallest pack of Goji berries.
Goji Berries, or Wolf berries and they are sometimes called, are a small red fruit, often considered to be superfood, that can actually be grown in gardens in the UK. The botanical name is Lycium barbarum and they are mostly sourced commercially from China.
Once they are sun dried they will then keep well like raisins or dates. Many claims have been made for their health benefits but few are yet proven. What is not in doubt is that they taste lovely and add a splash of colour to both sweet and savoury dishes. They are a good source of vitamin C and A, zinc, iron and fibre. Rich in antioxidants and relatively low in sugars they are not super sweet to taste but have a more subtle fruity taste.
