These are short pieces of spaghetti, which can be used in place of both spaghetti ( but no fork twirling!) or noodles in oriental cooking such as stir frying. Also makes an interesting cold salad base.
This blend of rice and maize flour is a mainstay of the Orgran gluten free pasta range. It used to be called Ris o Mais, which is pretty name but no one knew what it meant! This is exactly the same lovely blend, which comes very close to the look and texture of regular (eg non gluten free) pasta and many people will not notice the difference.

To cook, put into plenty of boiling water, add salt if you wish. Stir gently then boil for 8.5 minutes - check its how you like it but don't overcook it whatever you do! Then drain, and briefly rinse under running water.
