Made from natural ingredients (organic Japanese brown rice miso, with selected vegetables), without the use of yeast extracts, this concentrated stock comes in four sachets of easy-to-use paste. Simply dissolve the contents of a sachet in 500ml of boiling water to make a rich, smooth stock that is particularly suitable for non-Japanese dishes.
Brown rice miso (35%: whole soya beans, cultured brown rice, sea salt, water), sea salt, carrot pure, water, onion pure, leek pure, kombu sea vegetable extract (water, kombu, sea salt), kuzu (starch thickener), ginger pure, cold-pressed sunflower oil.

This miso is produced by combining cooked soya beans with brown rice that has been inoculated with mould spores. The mixture is fermented over several months, allowing enzymes and naturally occurring yeasts and bacteria to break down the complex nutrients into a readily digestible form. Miso is thus a high-energy wholefood with noted benefits for the digestive system.
