Middleton Foods are a family-owned and -operated business, proudly manufacturing food products in the heart of the UK. Last year, Middleton Foods opened a new 5,000-sq-ft, stand-alone, gluten-free factory at its site in Willenhall in the West Midlands. Dedicated specifically to manufacturing gluten-free products, the building can produce over 100 tonnes of naturally gluten-free products per week. With the gluten-free market growing significantly, Middleton Foods was eager to create an environment in which all wheat products were removed, giving full control over manufacturing and eliminating the risk of cross-contamination completely.
In addition to its full range of wheat-based products, Middleton Foods can now offer a wide selection of gluten-free products, including bread and pizza mix, muffins, cookies, custard, pancakes, doughnuts, scones, waffles, fudge brownies, crumble and flapjacks, as well as Middleton's own gluten-free batter mix, curry and gravy (widely used in fish and chip shops throughout the UK).
