Red Quinoa is a small, round grain that cooks easily, in the same way as rice.
The red variety has a nuttier taste than pearl quinoa and retains its colour well during cooking, although it may take a few minutes longer to cook.
Use 1 cup of quinoa to 3 cups of water. Rinse the quinoa first and then bring to the boil and simmer for 25 minutes.
