Oat groats are hulled, whole oat kernels, with their outer bran and germ intact. Soak overnight, then cook on the stove to make a thick, nutritious, fibre- and protein-rich porridge.
Oat groats have been processed as little as possible, making them real whole foods, still packed with nutrition. They take a little more preparation, and should be soaked before using, but they make up for it by tasting great and being really healthy!
