Chick pea flour is also known as gram flour or besan flour. It's milled from naturally gluten-free and wheat-free chick peas (garbanzo beans): this pack carries the crossed grain logo, confirming its gluten-free status.
This flour is a traditional ingredient in onion bhajis and other Indian and Middle Eastern dishes. It's also useful for thickening soups and sauces.
