Brown rice flour, made from ground unhulled rice, is naturally gluten-free and wheat-free. This flour, from Shipton Mill, has been especially finely ground, keeping the lovely nutty flavour, but removing the grittiness of some other brown rice flours.
Brown rice flour is plain in flavour, creamy in colour and easy to digest. It makes great puddings and biscuits and can also be used to thicken sauces in sweet and savoury dishes.
