Organic wheat bran is a healthy way to add fibre to your food. it is high in minerals, folic acid and can be added to baking or to porridge and cereals. You may need to add a little more liquid or make sure that you drink a little more if you are used to a very refined diet.
Non organic bran may have higher levels of pesticides and fungicides than you might wish, as the outer husk, or bran can collect these unwanted chemicals. It is just another good reason to buy organic.
