Rude Health sprout the oat grains and then roll them to make a more digestable and nutritious sort of oat flake. Regular oats are steamed and rolled but as these are not stabilised in this way they will take longer to cook - try simmering with water ( or milk if you must!) for around 12-15 minutes.

IN A PAN: Bring to the boil and simmer for 12-15 minutes until most of the water has cooked down, stirring occasionally.
N A MICROWAVE: Pour the oats and half of the liquid into a bowl. Cook on full power for 2 minutes then stir. Add half the remaining liquid, cook for 1 minute then stir. Add the rest of the liquid, cook for 1 minute then stir and leave to cool and thicken for a minute.
