This is a econmomy size bag of gluten free rolled oats, grown and processed in Scotland. They are tested to ensure gluten levels are below 20 ppm (parts per million) and so are suitable for coeliacs and anyone wishing to avoid the cross contamination with wheat that often occurs in normal oat processing and milling. A superb porridge oat flake which taste really creamy even when made without milk.
These are regular porridge oat flakes - the oat groat is cut with steel blades into approximatly 3 pieces, which are then rolled and briefly steamed to give a thin flake which cooks in 3 - 5 minutes.
