Organic apples are naturally a bit darker than conventional apples as they have not been treated with additives to preserve the colour. They are great for snacking on straight from the pack, or when used in cooking they add sweetness to a dish, alternatively they can be soaked and used as compote. Because they have been dried they tend to hold their shape quite well once cooked and do not “mash” easily like fresh apple
A very useful nibble/snack for teething toddlers.
