Organic apples are naturally darker than conventional dried apples, as they have not been treated with preservatives to retain the colour. These tasty rings are ideal for snacking on straight from the pack, or can be used in cooking to add sweetness to a dish. Alternatively, they can be soaked and used as a compote. Dried apples tend to hold their shape well once cooked and do not soften down easily like fresh apple.
Also a useful nibble or snack for teething toddlers.
