Grown either in the South of France or in Italy (where it is known as Riso Rosso), this is a nutty and colourful rice. When cooked, the grains burst open in a very attractive way, showing the creamy inner rice, with a red outer. Good cold as a salad, as well as in hot dishes.
This is a bulk sack, suitable for caterers and food producers, or very hungry families.
